An average Indian consumes 31GB per month: Nokia research

An average Indian mobile user now consumes over 31 GB of data per month, up from 27.5 GB in 2024, according to Nokia's 2026 Mobile Broadband Index. This reflects an 18% compound annual growth over five years, driven by rapid 5G rollout, affordable 5G handsets, and rising use of AI-heavy apps, 4K video, and cloud gaming.
