An Indian minister told me, 'India, US will still be friends after 50 years': US envoy

US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor recalled an Indian minister telling him, "No matter what you hear in the news, 50 years from now, our two countries will still be friends." Gor stated that, "the US and India have so much in common...that will sustain us for decades to come." The US wants to work "hand-in-hand" with India, he added.
