Anahat becomes 1st Indian to reach women's singles squash final in Asiad history

India's 18-year-old squash player Anahat Singh defeated Japan's Satomi Watanabe after trailing 0-2 in the women's singles semi-final at the Asian Games 2026 on Saturday. Anahat registered a 9-11, 11-13, 12-10, 11-6, 11-3 victory over the world number six. With the win, Anahat became the first Indian to reach the women's singles final in Asian Games history.
