US analyst flags insider trading, calls out $2-bn bets placed just before Trump announcements

US-based analyst Peter Girnus flagged $2.1-billion suspicious bets placed minutes before Donald Trump's major announcements, raising concerns about US' regulatory environment. Girnus noted that multiple flags he raised in 2026 have simply been given "reviewed" status by a review committee. "In compliance, status is absence of action that has been given a name so it looks like one," he added.
