Anandabazar Patrika Editor resigns days after being summoned by police

The Editor of Anandabazar Patrika, Anirban Chattopadhyay, has resigned from his position. This comes after Kolkata Police summoned him regarding an article in the newspaper recently. "My decision to resign as Editor of Anandabazar Patrika was taken by me a long time back. I have been trying to relieve myself of this duty for more than a year," said Chattopadhyay.
