Ancelotti becomes first non-Brazilian to coach Brazil at a FIFA WC
Carlo Ancelotti, who is widely considered one of the most successful and decorated football managers in history, became the first non-Brazilian to coach Brazil at a FIFA World Cup. The ex-Italy footballer achieved the feat when Brazil played their FIFA World Cup 2026 opener against Morocco on Sunday (IST). The 67-year-old has previously managed clubs such as Juventus and Chelsea.
