Ancient monster snake discovered in India measured 50-feet

A 2005 fossil in Gujarat, titled "Vasuki indicus," has been identified as one of Earth's largest snakes, measuring 36-50 feet long and possibly weighing up to 1,000 kilograms. Named after Hindu mythical snake king Vasuki, the fossil was initially thought to be of a crocodile but turned out to be the largest in its family.
