Ancy Sojan breaks Anju Bobby George's 22-year-old long jump national record

Kerala long jumper Ancy Sojan broke legendary athlete Anju Bobby George's 22-year-old national record on the fourth day of National Inter-State Championships in Bhubaneswar on Saturday. The 25-year-old registered a best jump of 6.88m, bettering Anju's previous national record of 6.83m. Anju had set the mark at the 2004 Athens Olympics.
