Andhra allots 20 acres to Infosys in Vizag; 7,000 jobs expected

Andhra Pradesh government has allotted 20 acres in Visakhapatnam to Infosys for a ₹750 crore IT/ITeS campus under its LIFT and IT & GCC policies. Expected to create 7,000 jobs, the project will be developed in phases by 2029. Infrastructure worth ₹79 crore has been sanctioned, positioning Visakhapatnam as a major IT hub post-bifurcation.
