Andhra CM gives ₹1,117 cr crop insurance on YSR birth anniversary

Commemorating former Andhra Pradesh CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy's birth anniversary as 'Rythu Dinotsavam' (farmer's day), Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy disbursed ₹1,117 crore to over 10 lakh farmers in the state as crop insurance compensation for 2022 Kharif season. Reddy released the funds at a public meeting under the Dr YSR Free Crop Insurance Scheme in Ananthapuramu's Kalyandurg.
