Andhra CM inaugurates ₹405-cr gold mining project in Kurnool

Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated a ₹405-crore gold mining project in Kurnool district, which is India's first private gold mine. The mine is expected to produce 400 kg of gold during the first year and increase to 900 kg annually from the second year. The state will receive 4% of the value of gold output in royalty revenue.
