Andhra CM Jagan Reddy elected as YSR Congress' lifetime President

Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was elected as the lifetime President of his party, Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress (YSRC). The announcement was made on the concluding day of the YSRC's two-day plenary. Notably, the party's constitution was amended to enable CM Jagan for the post, especially after his mother, Vijayamma, had quit as YSRC's honorary President.
