Andhra girl Kandula picked for Mission ShakthiSAT from 108 countries

Kandula Jessie, a 14-year-old from Andhra Pradesh, has been selected for Mission ShakthiSAT, the world's first all-girl lunar CubeSat team. She was chosen from nearly 12,000 applicants across 108 countries and is the only student selected from Andhra. The programme will provide hands-on training in building and operating a satellite headed for the Moon, beginning August 23 in New Delhi.
