Andhra government forms SIT to probe alleged liquor scam

The investigation into the alleged liquor scam under the previous YSRCP government in Andhra Pradesh is set to gain momentum. The state government has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe alleged irregularities and corruption in the Andhra Pradesh State Beverages Corporation Ltd (APSBCL) between October 2019 and March 2024.
