Andhra hospital removes rare pancreatic tumour from 8-yr-old girl
An eight-year-old girl with a rare pancreatic tumour underwent successful keyhole surgery at KIMS Hospital, Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. The laparoscopic procedure removed the tumour while preserving pancreatic tissue. She recovered quickly and was discharged in five days. Early detection and expert surgery ensured a safe outcome, allowing her to return to school and normal activities.
