Andhra Pradesh on alert after 2 COVID-19 deaths, 8 active cases

Health authorities have stepped up surveillance after COVID-19 resurfaced in Andhra Pradesh's YSR Kadapa, where eight cases and two deaths were reported in recent weeks. Officials collected samples from around 40 people in affected areas. The district in-charge minister also directed authorities to test family members of infected persons and shift those testing positive to isolation wards.
