Andhra Pradesh revives baby kit scheme for newborns

The Andhra Pradesh government has revived the Baby Kit scheme to support newborns and mothers in government hospitals. Approved by CM Chandrababu Naidu, the fully state-funded initiative will provide kits worth ₹1,410, containing 11 essential items. Previously supported by the NHM, the scheme aims to enhance infant health and hygiene.
