Andhra Pradesh to ban social media for children under 13

Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday announced that social media will be banned for children under 13. He said the restriction will be implemented in phases over the next 90 days. The state government is also considering extending the ban to teenagers aged 13 to 16. Notably, Karnataka has also proposed a similar ban for children under 16.
