Andro, a village in Manipur, has its roots tied to Meitei faith. When faced with forced conversion to Hinduism, the group resisted and left the village. Later, they lit a sacred fire in Mei Mutaba temple symbolizing their return, and established Andro again. The fire is tended daily and has never been extinguished since then. Mutua Museum showcases tribal heritage.
