Android 16 roll out confirmed from June for selected phones

Android 16 is set to launch in June 2025, much earlier than usual. Pixel devices, from Pixel 6 to the upcoming Pixel 9 series, will be the first to receive the update. Galaxy S25 series by Samsung and upcoming foldables will follow. The update introduces Material 3 Expressive, featuring dynamic animations, new iconography, and revamped UI elements.
