Android malware 'Perseus' steals sensitive data from note apps

A new Android malware codenamed 'Perseus' has been identified that targets note-taking apps like Google Keep, Xiaomi Notes and Samsung Notes. This malware "enables real-time monitoring", can actively target high-value personal and financial information stored in note-taking apps and can even fully "take over" the device remotely. Perseus has built-in measures that enable it to work undetected.
