Ang Rita Sherpa, first person to climb Mount Everest 10 times, dies aged 72

Nepalese mountaineer Ang Rita Sherpa, the first person to climb Mount Everest 10 times, died in Kathmandu on Monday, his family said. The 72-year-old had suffered brain and liver ailments for a long time, his grandson told Reuters. He made all the ascents to the summit of Mount Everest between 1983 and 1996 without bottled oxygen.
