Angry over break-up, Maharashtra man pushes girlfriend into gorge

A 25-year-old man, Shripad Wadu, has been arrested in Maharashtra's Kolhapur district for pushing 23-year-old engineering student Tarannum Naik into a deep gorge near Naikwadi after an argument over her arranged marriage and breakup. After committing the crime, Shripad initially attempted to cover it up by claiming she was missing. He later surrendered at Bhudargad police station and confessed.
