Anil Ambani's Reliance Power has zero debt after ₹3,872 crore settlement

Anil Dhirubhai Ambani's Reliance Power has announced that Vidarbha Industries Power Limited (VIPL) ceases to be a subsidiary of the company and the entire ₹3,872.04 crore outstanding debt of VIPL has been settled. Reliance Power also announced it has zero debt from banks and financial institutions. Reliance Power shares hit their 5% upper circuit on Wednesday after the announcement.
