Anil Ambani writes to Sitharaman, seeks Sandesara brothers-style resolution of cases

Ex-billionaire Anil Ambani has written a letter to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, seeking a resolution of cases against him in the way criminal proceedings were dropped against fugitive Sandesara brothers. The Supreme Court had directed the brothers to deposit ₹5,100 crore for quashing the cases. Ambani argued that if such resolution was possible for fugitives, it's possible for him too.
