Anil Desai wins Mumbai South Central seat, defeats 2-time MP Rahul Shewale

Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate Anil Yeshwant Desai has won the Mumbai South Central seat after defeating Shiv Sena candidate and two-time Mumbai South Central MP Rahul Shewale. Desai secured 3,95,138 votes and defeated Shewale by a margin of 53,384 votes. Notably, Shewale had defeated Eknath Gaikwad by a margin of over 1 lakh votes in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
