Anil Gurav, who lent Sachin Tendulkar the bat for his first competitive century, passes away

Anil Gurav, who lent Sachin Tendulkar the bat with which he scored his first competitive century, passed away aged 61. Gurav was Sachin's senior at the Sassanian Cricket Club. He was once considered as one of Mumbai's brightest batting talents, however, his career was disrupted due to his brother’s involvement in Mumbai’s underworld.
