Annu Rani becomes first Indian woman to win gold in javelin throw in Asian Games history

Javelin thrower Annu Rani on Tuesday became the first Indian woman to win gold medal in javelin throw in the history of Asian Games. The 31-year-old won the women's javelin throw event at the 19th Asian Games with a best throw of 62.92 metres. Annu had won bronze medal in the Asian Games 2014.
