Another researcher quits Anthropic, warns of AI intelligence explosion, human extinction risk

Safety researcher Joe Benton said he left Anthropic two weeks ago, warning that AI companies are racing to build machines "much smarter than any human" and humanity "may not survive this". He said an AI intelligence explosion could happen without public knowing. Recently, researcher Jacob Coxon quit Anthropic, saying AI "could kill us all by the end of the decade".
