Anson Funds, which allegedly has links with Hindenburg, runs two FPIs in India

Canada-based Anson Funds, which allegedly had links with Nate Anderson's Hindenburg Research in drafting reports on wrongdoings at companies, is registered in India as a foreign portfolio investor (FPI), Moneycontrol reported. Anson runs a Texas-based and a Cayman Islands-based FPI in India. Notably, Hindenburg's report on Adani Group had eroded billions of rupees in value from the firms' m-cap.
