Anthropic blocks Claude from recreating existing games

Anthropic reportedly restricted Claude from recreating existing video games and supporting certain reverse-engineering tasks, including through the Reverse Engineer Anything (REA) tool. The move aims to prevent copyright infringement and unauthorised game cloning. The restrictions may also affect legitimate development projects but users can still create original games using their own assets.
