Anthropic CEO apologises for 'didn't give Trump dictator-style praises' claim in internal memo

Anthropic's billionaire CEO Dario Amodei apologised for claiming in a leaked internal memo that the US government doesn't like them because they didn't give President Donald Trump "dictator-style praises", unlike OpenAI. He said he wrote it a "few hours" after Anthropic was blacklisted, was designated a supply chain risk and OpenAI's Pentagon deal. "It was a difficult day," he added.
