Anthropic clarifies why Claude chats showed up on Google Search

Anthropic responded after private chats of Claude AI users appeared on Google Search. A spokesperson said when a Claude user shares a conversation, they are making the content publicly accessible, which could be archived by third-party services, including search engines. Anthropic said it has fixed the issue, adding Claude chats are private by default and only shared chats were affected.
