Anthropic launches AI model capable of controlling user's PC

Anthropic has launched an upgraded version of its Claude 3.5 Sonnet model, capable of using computers the way humans do. The model uses 'computer use' API to imitate keystrokes, button clicks and mouse gestures. It has been trained to see what's happening on a screen and perform tasks like checking spreadsheets and filling out forms as instructed by a user.
