Anthropic launches Claude Design for visual work; Figma shares tank 7%

Anthropic has launched Claude Design, an AI tool that lets users create visual work such as designs, prototypes, slides and one-pagers from prompts. Powered by Claude Opus 4.7, it generates an initial draft that can be refined via conversation, inline comments, direct edits or custom sliders. Shares of Figma fell over 7%, while Adobe slipped 1% after the release.
