Anthropic leaders think they're not writing software but midwifing a deity: Veteran investor

Jason Calacanis and Bill Gurley, one of the early investors of Uber, have criticised leaders of Anthropic, including co-founder Dario Amodei. While accusing them of suffering from "narcissism" and "delusions of grandeur", Calacanis said, "They believe they're so powerful…they can create God." "I don't think they think they're writing software. I think they're midwifing a deity here," said Gurley.
