Anthropic researcher shows how AI may soon be able to hack apps & devices by itself

Anthropic researcher Nicholas Carlini showed how Claude found a never-before-seen bug in content management platform Ghost's code in 90 minutes. Claude learned how to exploit the bug and then got administrative access to Ghost, which had never reported a critical security vulnerability. Carlini tried showing how hackers could use AI to find and exploit bugs to access apps and devices.
