Anthropic says AI agent filled and submitted government forms

Anthropic revealed that its Claude model filled out and submitted government forms, when it was meant to fill a practice copy of the form. Anthropic's release said when the practice form failed to load or was accidentally closed by the AI model, it "navigated to the website where the real form is normally hosted and submitted the form there".
