Anthropic to expand Claude beyond coding: Indian-origin co-creator

Anthropic is expanding beyond coding-focused AI tools into broader professional and knowledge-worker tasks, Claude Code co-creator Sid Bidasaria told Moneycontrol. He said coding was the first focus area because results were easier to verify. Bidasaria is among a growing group of Indian-origin leaders working at Anthropic. Claude Code hit $2.5 billion in ARR in February 2026.
