Anthropic to take legal action after US Pentagon officially flags it as 'supply chain risk'

After US Pentagon officially designated Anthropic as a "supply chain risk", the AI company's billionaire CEO Dario Amodei said, "We don't believe this action is legally sound...we see no choice but to challenge it in court." He claimed most Claude users will be unaffected and that it "applies only to...customers as a direct part of [Department of War] contracts."
