Anthropic turns to lawyers to teach AI agents to negotiate like humans

Anthropic is consulting law firms to train its AI agents to negotiate deals, resolve complaints and secure better salary offers for users while following legal and ethical rules. The AI company is studying how human lawyers negotiate for clients and how much freedom its agents should have. This comes as AI agents increasingly make decisions with limited human involvement.
