Anthropic unveils Claude Sonnet 4.6 with 1 mn token context window

Anthropic has launched Claude Sonnet 4.6, calling it its "most capable Sonnet model yet". The upgrade features one million token context window in beta, enabling work across extremely long documents, codebases and conversations with coherence. Sonnet 4.6 is now default model for Free and Pro users and it delivers enhanced coding as well as improvements in consistency and instruction following.
