Anthropic warns it's close to developing self-building AI

Anthropic has indicated that it may be close to developing a model capable of recursive self-improvement (RSI), a process in which AI independently builds an upgraded version of itself. In an updated IPO filing, the company said it may soon meet its own definition of RSI. However, it clarified that none of its models has crossed this threshold yet.
