Anti-air pollution measures in Delhi-NCR are a total failure: SC

The Supreme Court on Wednesday said that the measures taken by authorities against the rising levels of air pollution in the Delhi-NCR region have been a "total failure" so far. CJI Surya Kant said the air pollution crisis has become an annual feature, adding that meaningful reduction in pollution would require long-term planning rather than ad hoc responses.
