Anti-paper leak bill cleared from Parliament

After the Lok Sabha, the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026, has now cleared from the Rajya Sabha. The bill proposes harsher punishments like up to 10 years of jail and up to ₹10 crore penalty against those involved in paper leaks. The bill now requires President Droupadi Murmu's assent to become an Act.
