Antigua and Barbuda to hold referendum for Republic as Charles becomes King

Antigua and Barbuda plans to hold a referendum on becoming a Republic in a move that could see King Charles III removed as the head of state. "This is a matter that has to be taken to a referendum...within the next, probably, three years," PM Gaston Browne said after Charles was confirmed as the country's King following Queen Elizabeth's death.
