Antitrust case by Continental against Qualcomm-Nokia group dismissed
A US judge ruled that Avanci, a licensing group formed by Qualcomm, Nokia and other tech patent holders, is not violating antitrust laws as claimed by auto part maker Continental. It argued that Avanci's charge of $15 per vehicle for patented tech use would wipe out its profit. The judge sided with Avanci, stating the group can price patents freely.
