Antyodaya schemes expand support for India’s poorest communities

The government said its Antyodaya initiative is helping bring India's most deprived communities into the mainstream through schemes such as PM JANMAN and PM-AJAY. The programmes have improved access to housing, clean drinking water, electricity, education, infrastructure, skill development and livelihood opportunities for tribal and Scheduled Caste populations.
