Anup Kumar Singh takes charge as new Director General of NSG

Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Anup Kumar Singh took charge as the new Director General of the National Security Guard (NSG) from October 28. "Black cats welcome their new DG and look to move forward for achieving greater heights under his command," NSG tweeted. Singh's appointment was approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet headed by PM Narendra Modi.
