Any noise meter app's data can now be used to file complaints in Mumbai

Noise pollution complaints in Mumbai can now be lodged based on any noise monitoring application's data, Police Commissioner Sanjay Pandey said. "Citizens can download any free noise meter, take a reading of the decibel level...and lodge a complaint," he said. Pandey had earlier directed major developers to install noise cutters around construction sites in the city by March 31.
